Biography:

Elisabeth Shue was born on October 6, 1963 in Wilmington, Delaware, United States. After high school, she attended Wellesley College. During her junior year, she began appearing in commercials. She later transferred to Harvard University but left to pursue acting full-time. She eventually finished her degree several years later in 2000. As an actress, she made her debut in the TV movie The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana.

Her first starring role on the small screen was as Jackie Sarnac in the show Call to Glory. She then became known for her role as Ali Mills in The Karate Kid. She rose to wider fame courtesy of her role as Jennifer Parker in Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III. More recently, she’s best known for starring as Julie Finlay in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
