Biography:

Janel Parrish was born on October 30, 1988 in Oahu, Hawaii. She started acting professionally when she was cast as “Young Cosette” in the National Touring Company of Les Misérables.

In 1999, she had her first television role in the miniseries Too Rich: The Secret Life of Doris Duke and the following year, she was featured in Disney’s television film Geppetto.

Her first film role was in the live-action film Bratz: The Movie, playing one of the main roles.

As of 2010, she plays Mona Vanderwaal in the hit teen series Pretty Little Liars.
