After a collision at Bowling Green, a man is accused of driving murder and a cyclist is killed.
Michael Szabo, who was riding his bike on the sidewalk, was struck by James Patrick Lindsay, 54, who is accused of leaving the road on South Main Street. Szabo, 60, passed away on the spot.
In Bowling Green, a pedestrian was killed in a collision that the police are looking into.
The collision occurred on Saturday just after 2:00, according to the Bowling Green Police Department. Near the intersection of South Main and Pearl streets, James Patrick Lindsay, 54, of Dunbridge, is accused of driving onto the sidewalk after going off the road.

Michael Szabo, 60, of Bowling Green was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk when Lindsay’s car struck him, according to the BGPD. Szabo expired there and then.
Lindsay is accused of aggravated vehicular homicide and was brought to the Wood County jail.
What might have led Lindsay’s car to veer off the road was not disclosed by BGPD. Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
