A homicide inquiry has been opened by the police into the death of Suzette Nellis who was discovered in Oil City along a well-traveled bike path.
The original investigation at the scene, according to the authorities, was inconclusive regarding the manner and cause of death. The woman’s death inquiry had been transformed into a homicide investigation after an autopsy.
“At no point did responders give up hope,” the Oil City Firefighters IAFF Local #700 union wrote in the post. “Everyone came together and worked as a well-oiled machine throughout the entire search.”
Nellis allegedly went missing on Sunday afternoon while out for a stroll.
