Ryan MacInnis Dies in New Hartford Crash

On Thursday afternoon in New Hartford, a 3-car collision claimed the life of a man from Bristol.

Around 11:23 a.m., Bristol, Connecticut resident Ryan Macinnis, 42, was operating a car westbound on Rt. 44 when he swerved to avoid a collision.

Later, Macinnis was involved in a collision with two other cars and came to an abrupt stop in some grass off the northbound side of the road.

He suffered critical injuries during the assault, and local EMS later took him to Hartford Hospital.

At Hartford Hospital, Macinnis was declared dead after succumbing to his wounds.

State police reported that the drivers of the other two automobiles were unharmed.
