Jennifer Morrison was born on April 12, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She began her career as a child model. She attended Loyola University in Chicago, where she studied Theatre and English.
Her debut film came in the 1994 film Intersection. She also appeared in Stir of Echoes with Kevin Bacon. Various film roles followed including Amy Mayfield in Urban Legends: Final Cut.
She is also known for her role as Emma Swan in Once Upon a Time. In 2004, she was cast as Dr. Allison Cameron in House co-starring Hugh Laurie. She played the role from 2004 to 2012.
